Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be adept at troubleshooting and maintaining various mechanical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including air brake systems and hydraulics.
- Diagnose issues with machinery and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as required.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Align, suspend, and adjust components to meet operational specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
Skills
- Proficient in air brake systems and hydraulic systems maintenance.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to solder components effectively as part of repair processes.
- Strong aptitude for heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with aligning and suspending mechanical parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Previous experience as a service technician is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
