Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer quality requirements
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documentation
- Lead internal, process, and product audits and support customer and third-party audits
- Analyze quality data, trends, Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CPARs) to drive improvements
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to support continuous improvement and cost reduction
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms
- Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and process capability studies
- Manage calibration programs, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge R&R), and inspection equipment
- Investigate product and process nonconformities and validate corrective and preventive actions
- Develop inspection methods for receiving, in-process, and final product checks
- Support training initiatives and maintain training records and matrix accuracy
- Participate in Management of Change (MOC) and risk assessment activities
- Comply with all safety requirements and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required; this position is onsite
- This position does not support remote work
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required
- Must be located in the Tulsa, OK area or within a reasonable commuting distance; this is an onsite position
- Minimum of 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Previous experience with fiberglass manufacturing is preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1 standards preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.) preferred
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred
