The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Family Medicine and Community Health has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time, Center Administrator to work in Miami.
Foster collaboration across departments and with national/international Osher Network partners.
Collaborate with clinical departments to expand integrative services and referrals.
In collaboration with the Medical Director, provide oversight for the Center’s budget, staffing, and operations.
Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal policies.
Serves as primary contact for VIP appointment requests and escalations.
Supervises direct reports that are, but not limited to, CBOR, Sr. Clinic Assistant, Medical Assistant, etc.
Managing clinic operations, administrative functions, and integrative medicine service delivery, including patient intake processes, specialty testing workflows, supplement management programs, and patient-paid services.
Ensuring efficient patient flow and clinic productivity.
Monitoring operational performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, patient access, operational efficiency, and the overall patient experience.
Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
In conjunction with Senior Administrative Officer (SAO), developing and managing the annual operating budget.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and expansion of integrative health services.
Identify and evaluate new integrative medicine offerings based on patient demand, market trends, and organizational priorities.
Lead implementation of new clinical programs, services, and care models.
Establish operational workflows and infrastructure for new service lines and clinic locations.
Monitoring revenues and expenses.
Analyzing financial reports and productivity metrics.
Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency within the Osher center.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external integrative health practitioners.
Assisting with business development initiatives for the Osher center
Develop strategic goals for the Osher center.
Support growth of clinical services, including but not limited to, acupuncture, massage therapy, etc.
Oversees operational workflows related to integrative medicine patient intake assessments, ensuring processes are established for completion, collection, and review of required questionnaires and health history forms prior to patient appointments.
Develops and maintains operational processes for specialty laboratory testing, including patient coordination, kit distribution logistics, vendor relationships, result routing, and follow-up workflows.
Oversees administration of integrative medicine supplement programs, including coordination with approved vendors and support of provider-recommended supplement protocols.
Collaborates with clinical, finance, compliance, and revenue cycle teams to establish and maintain processes for specialty laboratory testing, wellness programs, and other patient-paid services not covered by insurance.
Serves as the administrative lead for external integrative medicine vendors, specialty laboratories, wellness service providers, and strategic program partnerships.
Evaluate new integrative medicine programs.
Implement organizational initiatives.
Monitor progress toward departmental objectives.
Hiring and onboarding staff administrative and ancillary staff.
Annual TALK performance evaluations for direct reports
Managing employee performance issues.
Promoting employee engagement and teamwork.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.
Supporting implementation of new clinical programs.
Monitoring patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
Addressing patient complaints and service recovery.
Improving patient satisfaction scores.
Coordinate integrative medicine wellness programs.
Community education seminars.
Partnerships with community organizations.
Marketing and outreach initiatives.
Patient engagement programs.
Special events and fundraising activities.
Partner with Development and Foundation teams to support donor engagement, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives.
Assist in identifying philanthropic opportunities that support strategic growth and program development.
Manage operational aspects of funded initiatives and donor-supported programs.
