We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Working check-out in store and drive through.
- Learning our computer system and how to locate medications and where they are in the filling process.
- Answering phones promptly and politely.
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Providing exceptional patient service
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Managing inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies within the pharmacy.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Our shifts are 8:00am to 5:00pm; 4 days per week. We expect you to arrive at least 10 minutes before opening but earlier is available.
- Work up to as often as every other Saturday if needed, off every Sunday.
- Correctly managing orders that come through each morning.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably within a retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on providing excellent patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good computer skills and ability to catch on quickly.
