Busser
Our Busser needs to be a hardworking and efficient person to support our front-of-house team by maintaining clean and organized dining areas. Our busser is required to have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Table Maintenance & Guest Service
- Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly.
- Wipe down and reset tables for new guests, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Refill water glasses and assist guests with minor requests when needed.
- Support servers by delivering bread, condiments, and additional items to tables.
Cleaning & Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including chairs, floors, and service stations.
- Remove trash and dispose of it properly throughout the shift.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and available for use.
Team Support & Efficiency
- Assist servers and food runners by transporting dishes to and from the kitchen.
- Help with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after shifts.
- Communicate with the front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Experience: No experience required—training provided; previous experience in a restaurant is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Fast-paced restaurant setting with frequent walking and lifting.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required.
- Ability to carry trays, lift heavy items, and stand for long periods.
