We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, providing exceptional customer service and guidance to clients regarding our range of cannabis products. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting customers in making informed decisions about their purchases.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and effects.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized retail space through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending complementary items.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management.
- Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus.
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership roles within the dispensary.
