Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Intake Coordinator to join our team! As the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, you will play a key role in managing referrals, processing documentation, and ensuring that our office runs smoothly. This is a full-time in office position with a starting pay of $18/hour with room to increase after 90 days of proven experience and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient intake process, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Process referrals, orders, and follow-up calls
- Maintain office records, update patient information, and ensure data integrity
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner
- Coordinate with medical staff and ensure smooth delivery of equipment
Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative, intake, or customer service roles with a focus on Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processing preferred.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
