About the Role
At Pomarri, recovery doesn't end when a client leaves treatment—it continues through structure, accountability, and the development of healthy life skills. Our Recovery House provides a supportive, recovery-focused environment where individuals living with behavioral health conditions and substance use disorders develop the skills necessary for long-term independence and success.
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Live-In Recovery House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Men's Skills Development House. This individual will serve as a positive role model while helping residents build healthy routines, practice independent living skills, and maintain accountability within a structured recovery environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of the Skills Development House while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and recovery-oriented environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and personal responsibility.
- Support residents in developing independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, time management, communication, and healthy routines.
- Build positive, professional relationships with residents while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Conduct daily resident check-ins and communicate concerns, progress, or behavioral changes with the clinical treatment team.
- Implement and enforce house expectations, including curfew, house rules, and accountability measures in a respectful and consistent manner.
- Complete evening curfew checks and ensure residents have returned safely to the home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident interactions, incidents, and daily house activities.
- Conduct routine house inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Assist with resident orientations, move-ins, and discharges.
- Coordinate transportation or assist residents in accessing treatment, appointments, employment, and recovery-related activities when appropriate.
- Report maintenance needs and help maintain household inventory and supplies.
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or crisis situations while following agency policies.
- Candidates will need to pass a background check.
Schedule
This is a live-in position that offers flexibility while maintaining a consistent presence in the home.
- Typical on-site responsibilities begin each morning.
- Between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, the House Manager has flexibility to attend to personal errands, appointments, exercise, or other personal activities.
- The House Manager is expected to return by 7:00 PM each evening to conduct resident check-ins, enforce curfew, complete documentation, and perform evening responsibilities.
- Additional flexibility may be available depending on resident needs and program operations.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, residential services, peer support, case management, or social services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to establish trust while maintaining healthy professional boundaries.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Peer Support Specialist certification, SUDC experience, or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required.

- Base compensation of $2,000 per month.
- Performance-based bonus opportunity of up to $1,000 per month based on meeting established program and performance goals.
