Install new irrigation systems, including piping, sprinkler heads, valves, backflow preventers, controllers, and sensors.

Interpret irrigation plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.

Program and calibrate irrigation controllers and smart irrigation systems.

Diagnose and repair leaks, broken lines, faulty valves, electrical issues, and malfunctioning sprinkler heads.

Perform seasonal system startup and winterization (blowouts).

Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency.

Support snow season activities as assigned.

Accurately enter time and material data for jobs and payroll on a daily basis.

Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather, soil conditions, and plant needs.

Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce water usage.

Calibrate sprinkler heads for proper spray patterns and pressure.

Ensure installations comply with local water regulations and backflow requirements.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Follow safety protocols when working with tools, electrical components, and excavation equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment and vehicles, coordinating with the Fleet Manager as needed.

Experience with irrigation systems (residential, commercial, or agricultural).

Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical irrigation issues.

Familiarity with irrigation controllers such as Rain Bird, Hunter, and Toro.

Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.

Ability to read and interpret plans, manuals, and diagrams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid drivers license.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, weekends, and adapt to seasonal variations.
