We are seeking an exceptional Lead Toddler Teacher with a passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of toddler development. This is an opportunity for an experienced educator who believes children learn best through relationships, play, exploration, and responsive teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a closely related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of lead teaching experience with children ages 18–36 months.
- Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited or NAEYC-aligned early childhood program.
- Experience implementing or teaching within a Reggio Emilia-inspired learning environment desires.
- Strong understanding of child development, attachment, and developmentally appropriate practice.
- Demonstrated success supporting children's social-emotional development and self-regulation.
- Experience managing challenging behaviors using positive guidance and relationship-based strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and colleagues.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and independence.
- Plan and facilitate open-ended, child-led learning experiences inspired by children's interests.
- Observe, document, and extend children's learning through thoughtful curriculum planning.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.
- Foster language development, problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional competence throughout the day.
- Support children in navigating emotions, peer relationships, and conflict using respectful, research-based practices.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching partners and school leadership to continuously reflect on and strengthen classroom practices.

- Has extensive experience supporting toddlers through hitting, biting, pushing, separation anxiety, and other age-appropriate behaviors using proactive, evidence-based strategies.

- Values observation, reflection, and responsive teaching.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and welcomes coaching and ongoing professional development.
- Creates meaningful learning experiences rather than relying on worksheets or teacher-directed instruction.
- Has excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
