Responsibilities
Must be able to assess the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of the client.
Must be able to determine suitability of admission based on clinical criteria.
Must be able to make independent and responsible decisions.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have knowledge of community resources and can access resources when needed.
Must be able to identify potential referral sources, analyze referring trends, develop strategic business plans and work collaboratively with other members of the Business Development Team.
Must be able to interact with clients, physicians, families, and hospital personnel.
Must be willing to travel extensively.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed master’s level therapist or social worker or Registered Nurse (RN).
Licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE.
Must possess current Arkansas Driver’s License and retain insurability by MFH.
Must have basic computer skills.
Prefer previous mobile assessment experience and/or assessment and admission experience.
Remains current in Crisis Prevention Intervention Training.
Must be physically capable to receive verbal and written directions. Must be physically capable of sitting and standing for several hours at a time.
Must have good auditory, visual and olfactory ability. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
Must be able to maintain effective audio, visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading and writing, and operating office equipment and other treatment equipment.
Must be able to use a telephone to communicate verbally and a computer to communicate through written means, to review information and enter/retrieve data, to see and read characters on a computer screen, chart or other treatment items.
Must be willing and able to work with all patients of Methodist Family Health.
