30A Vacay is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work out of our Santa Rosa Beach, FL office. The job will require performing routine maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.).
Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to lift 50lbs.
Will inspect homes to maintain functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using company software systems
Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).
Reconfigure, install, position, and remount various varieties of home furniture and electronics
Recommend parts and maintain required documents for maintenance main office
Performs other work related duties as assigned by maintenance main office through company software system
Completing assigned work orders for homeowners which includes general repairs and maintenance.
Performing work orders in a timely manner and accurately reporting the work completed or needed
Able to perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment, including but not limited to AC units, appliances, fixtures, plumbing, etc
Assist any homeowners in any projects within our scope of duty
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Walk properties for routine maintenance checks.
