- Plan and engineer outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) construction projects
- Create, review, and modify engineering drawings, network layouts, splice plans, and cable routing designs
- Use GIS, AutoCAD, and related tools to develop accurate and scalable network designs
- Perform engineering analysis including route feasibility, pole loading, conduit capacity, and right-of-way constraints
- Support make-ready engineering for aerial and underground fiber installations
- Coordinate with construction and installation teams to ensure designs are properly implemented in the field, and with project managers to align schedules
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, local codes, and permitting requirements
- Prepare engineering deliverables including as-builts, redlines, technical reports, and design documentation
- Review subcontractor engineering work for accuracy and compliance
Qualifications
