Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing power tool retail business. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing sales, inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, accounts receivable and payable, and a team of employees.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of their work, is comfortable making decisions, and can manage multiple aspects of the business simultaneously.
Duties
- - Manage all daily store operations.
- - Place purchase orders with manufacturers and distributors.
- - Manage inventory levels and forecasting.
- - Review and reconcile vendor invoices and purchase orders.
- - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- - Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing when appropriate.
- - Hire, train, schedule, and manage employees.
- - Monitor sales performance and profitability.
- - Ensure excellent customer service.
- - Manage special orders, backorders, and customer deliveries.
- - Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts.
- - Develop and improve operational processes and efficiencies.
- - Produce weekly reports on sales, inventory, purchasing, and outstanding receivables.
Qualifications
- - 3+ years of management experience.
- - Experience with purchasing and inventory management.
- - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- - Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- - Proficiency with Excel and inventory management software.
- - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- - Retail, wholesale, distribution, or power tool industry experience is preferred.
- Someone who takes ownership and operates with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and financial accountability.
- The ability to prioritize and solve problems independently.
- A leader who can motivate a team while maintaining high operational standards.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
