Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of property systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent potential failures.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs or replacements for refrigeration or boiler setups.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welders to assess equipment condition and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for field service visits while adhering to all traffic laws.
Requirements

- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in construction environments or property maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), boilers, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge including welding skills, equipment repair, and understanding of schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles, air conditioning systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and utilize tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Field service experience with a focus on property maintenance or commercial HVAC projects.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Additional certifications in refrigeration (including ammonia), HVAC/R systems, or boiler operation are a plus.
