Arizona Family Health Services (AzFHS) is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in either a Full-Time or PRN (As Needed) capacity.
As an RN with AzFHS, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services across multiple Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) programs. This position offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals throughout Arizona.

Position Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing health evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.
- Monitor client health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ADHS, AHCCCS, DDD, and agency policies and procedures.
- Provide health education and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
- Serve as a clinical resource for direct care staff and other team members.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Arizona driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully pass all required background checks.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with ADHS-licensed healthcare facilities.
- Experience serving individuals enrolled in Arizona DDD programs.
- Knowledge of AHCCCS regulations and healthcare documentation requirements.
- Experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, home health, developmental disabilities, or community-based healthcare is highly desirable.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
