Job Description:
Drivers will pick up refrigerated loads from Amazon facilities in the Chicagoland area and deliver to Minnesota or Ohio. These routes are driver-assist. Upon delivery, drivers take a 10-hour break before returning to Chicago with a brokerage load.
Most drivers complete 3 round-trip runs per week. This position offers regular home time - drivers are home every other day for their 10-hour break and home for their 34-hour reset.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years verifiable experience operating truck + trailer
- Class A CDL held for at least 2 years
- Clean MVR - no major violations within the past 3 years
- No license suspensions within the past 5 years
- No misdemeanor or felony convictions within the past 10 years
- Must be punctual and reliable for all loads
- Must be organized and maintain paperwork as needed
- Must follow all DOT rules and regulations
Wage Range: 0.70 - 0.70 per mile
