- Evening shift 2pm-10pm
- Baylor (Double Weekends) 6am-10pm
- Overnight shift 10pm-6am
Job duties as a CNA may include:
- Bathing and dressing of residents;
- Delivering food and assisting residents in eating, if needed;
- Taking vital signs;
- Turning or repositioning residents who are bedridden;
- Providing and emptying bedpans;
- Lifting residents into beds or wheelchairs;
- Answering resident calls;
- Examining residents for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds;
- Cleaning and sanitizing resident areas; and
- Changing bed sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies.
CNAs also serve as a conduit between patients and nurses and doctors and record and communicate all issues to medical staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Active, state-issued CNA certification in good standing.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Soft Skills: High levels of compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to interact with elderly residents and their families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
