What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:

Managing day-to-day construction operations on active sites, including sequencing, scheduling and trade coordination

Leading and mentoring site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, with accountability for safety and quality outcomes

Monitoring project budgets, tracking costs against estimates and reporting variances to project controls and leadership

Ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols

Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to maintain alignment on scope, schedule and quality

Managing site logistics, material flow, equipment deployment and daily work planning

Preparing daily logs, progress reports and documentation required for contract compliance and project close-out
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have

5–10 years' hands-on construction management and on-site leadership experience

5+ years leading construction teams in a field-based environment

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent safety certification and current First Aid certification

Proficiency in AutoCAD for site coordination, drawing interpretation and plan markup

Solid understanding of construction sequencing, critical path planning and schedule management

Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, OSHA compliance and workplace safety best practices

Ability to manage budgets, track costs and communicate financial performance to stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent field experience
