MIN REQUIREMENTS: High School Degree or Higher, 1 yearBartending experience 21+
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Available weekends & holidays when required. Schedule to be determined by Bartender Manager per the needs of the property.
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Bartenders prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers by taking orders, making drink suggestions , serve snacks and drinks. Check identification of customers in order to verify age requirement. Reduce liability associated with customers' excessive drinking by encouraging them to stop drinking and/or calling taxis or other transportations for customers who had too much to drink.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure proper appearance and cleanliness of Bar Area
Report maintenance issues found in Bar Area
Responsible for serving alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks
Collecting payment for drinks orders
Convey the hotel's unique concept through maintaining quality service and safe environment.
Must be knowledgeable of all current safety practices, laws and OSHA standards
Attend monthly safety meetings
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

Operations
Have a good understanding of all hotel operating procedures specifically within the Bar Department
Enforce all existing and new policies and procedures pertaining to the Bar department
Follow instructions given at the beginning of each shift
Inform Bar Manager of any unique situations, or unusual developments in the retaurant/bar operations
Handle guest complaints effectively
Be knowledgeable in mixing ingredients in order to prepare excellent cocktails
Be knowledgeable of alcohol drinking laws and safety
Follow all safety rules and guidelines
