Overview
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Hearth Shop Showroom Sales Person and Delivery Associate to join our team. This position is primarily focused on helping customers in our showroom, with some light stocking, loading and delivery responsibilities. This energetic position combines inside sales, customer relationship building, product demonstrations, and efficient delivery operations to ensure clients receive top-tier service. Seasonal (Fall/Winter) with the opportunity of year around work.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly in the showroom, assess their needs, and provide expert guidance on wood, gas, electric and pellet stoves and inserts.
- Assess the customers needs and guide to the right product.
- Learn and explain our hearth products, including stoves, fireplaces, inserts, accessories and related products.
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining an inviting showroom environment.
- Receive, restock and organize merchandise in storage rooma.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Perform other general shop duties, as needed.
- Manage a credit card machine, cash handling on a daily basis.
- Pellet fuel delivery of 1 ton to customers homes (manually unload 40 pound bags).
- Forklift usage to load pellet fuel/stoves on customers vehicles.
- Hours Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
