Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Shift Offered: 2pm - 10pm 4-on 2-off rotation.

Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR systems)
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques and behavioral health strategies
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like wound care or catheter management to prevent infection
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to ensure seamless patient service
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification with current state licensure or registration
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation
- Prior experience with specialized care areas including ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), hospice, behavioral health, or pediatrics is preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aids
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
