Groskopf Construction is looking for a Finish Carpenter to join our team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in building things the right way, and like the variety that comes with residential construction, we’d love to talk with you.
This is a hands-on role working on a mix of new construction, remodels and additions throughout the local area. No two projects are exactly the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to work across different stages of the building process.
What You’ll Do
Depending on the project, your work may include:
- Rough framing for new construction and remodels
- Finish carpentry
- Installing siding, soffit and fascia
- Installing windows and doors
- Building decks, patios, porches and pergolas
- Demolition and preparation for remodels
- Reading plans and blueprints
- Measuring, cutting and assembling building materials
- Keeping job sites clean, safe and organized
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable working with their hands, operating carpentry equipment, and takes pride in quality work.
You should be able to:
- Accurately read a tape measure and take measurements
- Safely operate basic carpentry tools
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Work comfortably at heights when the project requires it
- Travel locally to job sites and vendor locations using your own vehicle; mileage is reimbursed
Experience reading blueprints or construction plans is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
