Position Now Available: Direct Support Professionals (DSP)- Day Habilitation Services – Williamsville, NY
A Quick Note About This Role:
This position involves direct interaction and hands-on support with adults with developmental disabilities. Some days are incredibly rewarding, but the work can also require patience, teamwork, and consistency.
Shift: Mon – Fri 8:00am-3:30pm (35 hours weekly)
Pay rate: $22.89 per hour!! – Highest DSP pay in Western NY
Key Duties:
- Supports individuals with disabilities in a center-based program
- Teach daily living, social, and adaptive skills to increase independence
- May take individuals on community outings
- Document progress to help our people achieve their goals
- Be a positive role model and part of a supportive team
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid NYS Driver’s License w/ approved record
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities preferred
