Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Fulltime Toddler or Preschool Lead Teacher! Duties
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for toddlers or preschoolers
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, socialization, and emotional growth
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and self-regulation among children
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate activities, assessments, and classroom routines
- Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support diverse learning needs
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings with classroom management expertise
- Ability to implement literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other subject areas effectively
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure child safety at all times
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners
- Proficiency in lesson planning, behavior management techniques, and classroom organization
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; experience working with children with special needs is a plus
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and experience teaching physical education or tutoring young learners
