Roles and Responsibilities
- Patient screening procedures (including but not limited to) assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, dental charting, taking of blood pressure/pulse
- Radiograph administration
- Calculus/Plaque removal and treatment of various periodontal conditions
- Preventative maintenance
- Patient education on oral hygiene strategies
- Hygiene schedule maintenance and patient follow up
- Dentrix system documentation
- Nutritional counseling and the correlation on oral health
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Dental Hygiene license/Certification (required)
- 1 + year(s) dental hygiene experience (preferred)
- 100% commitment to providing high quality patient care
- Positive team player with quick learning abilities and strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to move with agility in a fast-paced work environment
Job Type
- Part time- Monday and Tuesday's from 8:00 am-12:00pm (potential to increase hours in the future)
