Job Overview
Crown of Life Christian Academy is searching for a responsible full time Janitor / Maintenance employee. This individual must demonstrate a positive attitude toward work, exhibit respect for others including co-workers and students, and be able to work well with others as a team including flexibility in supporting one another. They must maintain a safe organized work area and report any problems or concerns to their Manager.
Janitorial Duties
- Sweep, mop floors, and clean windows and glass doors at the entrance.
- Sweep and mop front office.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum carpet, clean tables and chairs in classrooms.
- Sweep, mop hallways and gym.
- Clean mirrors, counters, toilets, sweep and mop the bathrooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Duties
- Be able to perform minor repairs.
- Have some basic experience in plumbing and yard work.
- Able to clean AC lines or willing to learn how to clean them.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift at least 50 to 80 pounds if needs to.
- Paint inside or outside the school if needed.
- Take trash out and help set up chairs and tables for events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on Saturdays.
- Speak and understand English.
- Pass fingerprint background checks including central registry.
