Cajun Home Services is looking for a reliable, motivated Journeyman Carpenter or experienced Carpenter's Assistant to join our team. You will be working directly alongside a Master Carpenter, giving you a prime opportunity to sharpen your skills, learn advanced techniques, and grow your career in the trade.

Responsibilities
- Work hand-in-hand with a Master Carpenter on residential and/or commercial projects.
- Assist with framing, trim work, installations, and general carpentry tasks.
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, handyman work, and general repairs.
- Manage, transport, and run tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
Requirements
- Prior Carpentry Knowledge: You should already know the basics, understand standard hand and power tools, and have some hands-on experience in the trade.
- Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn, take direction, and continuously improve your craftsmanship.
- Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and ready to work hard every day.
- Transportation: A reliable truck or service vehicle is highly preferred to help transport materials and tools when needed.
- Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work.
What We Offer:
- Competitive starting pay of $15.00 to $18.00/hour depending on your current skill level.
