Responsibilities
- Perform Equipment Test engineer duties in Semiconductor equipment; Support installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
- Research, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems to meet requirements
- Confer with engineers to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical support
- Coordinate all aspects of operation of parts refurbishment and critical part designs
- Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions
- Test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects of modification
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design, performance specifications
- Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
- Provide feedback to design engineers on customer's demands
- Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects such as the spare parts and semiconductor equipment
Education
- B.S. in Industrial Technology or related field required
