What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel trucks
- Tackle engine, transmission, brake, steering, electrical, and aftertreatment work
- Use modern diagnostic tools — JPRO, OEM software, the real stuff
- Quality-check your own work and stand behind it
- Communicate clearly with service advisors so the customer always knows where their truck stands
- Represent CFS with professionalism, pride, and craftsmanship
How You Get Paid
We pay flat rate because producers should be paid for production, not for sitting around. Top techs at CFS consistently out-earn hourly competitors — because when you’re efficient, you keep the upside.
- Flat Rate Scale: $28–$45/hr based on experience, certifications, and proven production
- $28–$32: Solid 3–5 year tech with the fundamentals locked in
- $33–$38: Strong 5–10 year tech with diagnostic chops and OEM familiarity
- $39–$45: Master-level tech — ASE Master, OEM-certified, proven heavy-duty diagnostician
- Performance Bonuses: Weekly and monthly incentives when the shop hits production targets
- Realistic Earnings: $70K–$95K+ annually for techs who consistently produce
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of diesel repair experience (heavy-duty / medium-duty / fleet preferred)
- Strong diagnostic skills — you can troubleshoot without leaning on Google or the lead tech
- Proficiency with modern diagnostic software and computerized tools
- ASE / OEM certifications strongly preferred (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Allison, etc.)
- Own tools and a serious tool box — we’re a tech-first shop
