We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Linen Attendant to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and packaging linens for vacation rental properties. Your primary duties will be bundling linens based on bed size, and packaging all linens for each unit.
This position requires excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to keep inventory systems in check and maintain a neat and tidy laundry room, all while performing repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare linens for vacation rental properties by packaging the correct quantity and type of terry and sheeting linens.
- Make linen bundles by bed type.
- Return clean, un-used linens to the proper inventory locations on the shelves.
- Wash and dry microfiber cleaning cloths and mop heads.
- Keep the washing machines and dryers clean and free from spills, and lint.
- Keep the laundry room and inventory room clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate with the housekeeping manager on a daily basis through the proper channels.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a working smartphone.
- Must be able to stand for an extended period.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
