American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position working night shifts at an academic medical center, requiring BLS and PALS certifications.

Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at an academic medical center
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), nights or rotating
-
May be required to float to the NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs
-
Every other holiday required
-
3 weekends per six-week schedule required
-
Epic EMR experience required for float pool and inpatient unit assignments

Active VA RN license or compact RN license (pending VA license will be accepted)

Current BLS and PALS certifications required

Pediatric ICU nursing experience required

Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus

Two professional references required for consideration

Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler

Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; time off cannot be approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
