Industrial Filter Manufacturers (IFM) has a full-time machine operator position available in our panel department. Ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude and a desire to work as part of a team.
We are a small, family-oriented environment and hope to bring in someone who will stay with us long term. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (with a 30 minute lunch) and occasional overtime.

Interview Process:
The successful candidate will meet with the panel department to see the job and understand expectations. The Machine Operator will float to various factory tasks in the panel department, including operating machinery, metal fabrication, filter assembly and general cleaning/organization of the facility.
Job Summary:
- Performs a variety of tasks to support manufacturing including, but not limited to: equipment operation, product fabrication, and organization
- Assembles products using preexisting plans/blueprints/work orders
- Use of hand tools, tape measure
- Operation of shear machine, bender, and other machinery including loading product and monitoring for accurate completion of each job
- Feed raw materials into machine, control and adjust machine settings as needed
- Correct issues that may occur during machine operation, if applicable
- Assists with other tasks including filter assembly and metal fabrication
- QC of products
- Works with other departments on supply needs
- Prioritizes order completion based on company standards
- Good verbal aptitude, numerical ability, problem solving skills, and ability to make sound judgments and decisions
Education/Training:
- 1+ year of related experience in assembly and warehousing recommended
- Must be able to read a tape measure
Job Specific Physical Demands:
This position requires:
- Continuous standing and movement
- Bending and stooping occasionally
- Lifting up to 50 pounds manually
- Ability to continuously work in an industrial setting with temperature variations
- Required to push and pull using a hand truck
- Repetitive hand motion, twisting, and arm motion
- Occasional reaching above and below the waist level
