Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Counselor located in Richland, WA. The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining detailed case notes, and supporting clients in their mental health and relationship needs. The role also involves collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients and managing casework efficiently to facilitate positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Foundational and clinical knowledge in Mental Health and Psychology
- Experience in Mental Health Counseling to help clients navigate interpersonal challenges
- Competency in Case Management, including documentation, resource coordination, and follow-ups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Eligibility for or possession of relevant licensure (e.g., Associate Counselor or Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Counselor)
- Strong knowledge in Treatment Planning to create personalized and effective approaches for client support
- Prior experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting is highly preferred
