American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an outpatient SLP position at a hospital in Michigan, requiring ASHA certification and adult outpatient experience.

Outpatient SLP setting within a hospital

Treats adult outpatient populations with conditions including language disorders, cognition, dysphagia, brain injuries, apraxia of speech, voice disorders, Parkinson's disease, and pediatric cases

Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30am to 5:00pm

No floating or weekend requirements

Epic EMR used on-site; experience preferred, with training provided during orientation

Active Michigan SLP license required by start date (compact license not accepted in MI); license required if applicable

Current ASHA certification required

Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required

Adult outpatient experience required

Proof of high school level education required, regardless of additional degrees

Epic EMR experience preferred

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Former core staff or travelers must wait 12 months before returning to this facility

Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates

Modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
