The firm is looking for a civil litigation attorney who is interested in handling employment law matters, such as contractual issues, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. The attorney will support the firm through, legal research and writing, taking and defending depositions, handling hearings, participating in mediations, and above all else, gathering and mastering the facts of the cases by having direct and regular client contact. The firm also handles commercial litigation and class actions. There is an opportunity to work in all three practice areas.
The ideal candidate is looking to work collaboratively, grow with the firm, and see their work translate into results for clients.
Compensation:
$90,000-120,000 annually depending on experience
Bonus will be based on performance.
Required Qualifications:
- This job requires in person work for a Florida bar admitted attorney - MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE FLORIDA BAR
- Membership in the Georgia bar is a plus
- Must be willing to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
- 2 years of civil litigation experience is strongly preferred
- We will consider a former public defender (person with trial experience) with genuine interest in civil practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a plaintiff's side employment firm that takes pride in having a close relationship with each client. This is not a volume practice. To maximize the value of each client's case, the firm is looking for an attorney who is comfortable speaking with potential and existing clients extensively to master the facts of their employment situation and events leading up to termination. Patience and attention to detail are critical skills.
