Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required for a 13‑week contract at a 42‑bed long‑term acute care hospital. The role supports critical‑care patients during night shifts and contributes to a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.
Serve as a clinical resource across patient care units
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response events
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Perform invasive respiratory procedures
Administer respiratory medications and therapeutic gases
Monitor vital signs and patient progress
Operate and interpret monitoring equipment
Apply strong clinical judgment in all situations
Active RRT license
Minimum of 1 year hospital experience (critical care preferred)
BLS & ACLS required
Strong clinical, communication, and critical‑thinking skills
Professional, reliable, and team‑oriented
Detail‑driven and adaptable
