Duties
- Assist with the installation of garage doors, openers, and some fabrication.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, caulking, trimming, and drilling.
- Support heavy lifting efforts for large or bulky materials while maintaining proper safety protocols
- Read drawings to interpret installation requirements accurately
- Measure dimensions precisely for quality control and ensure all installations meet specified measurements
- Prepare work sites by organizing tools and materials, as well as clean up after work is complete; ensuring all tools and products are accounted for.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in construction tasks
- Experience with construction site safety practices including heavy lifting and proper handling of glass materials
- Familiarity with measuring tools for dimensional measurements and quality control checks
- Basic handyman skills such as caulking, remodeling tasks, painting preparation, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry

Experience with hand tools and constructions equipment preferred, but not required. We will train. Trades (like HVAC, plumbing, mechanic, electrical) usually make the transition into the garage door industry very easily. We typically work 50-55 hours/week, but not guaranteed. This position is outdoors. We work in all types of weather. If you cant work in all types of weather, or can't lift over 50 lbs, you would not fit into this position.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
