The Orthopedic Residency Coordinator, hereinafter referred to as the Coordinator or PC, under direction from the Education Manager, the Residency Program Director, Associate Program Directors, the Vice Chair of Education, and the Director of Finance and Administration, is primarily responsible for coordinating the Orthopedic Residency Program and its residents in training, hereinafter referred to as the Residency.
The Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the day‐to‐day administration of the ACGME Orthopedic residency training program. The PC will assist the Program Director (PD) in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program & ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements. The PC will function as a liaison between the PD, residents/fellows, faculty, GME Office, participating sites, and other departments. The PC is knowledgeable about compliance and regulatory requirements at the various training sites in which the residents rotate. The PC provides essential communication and networking for the effective functioning of the orthopedic residency training program. The PC represents the Residency on behalf of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office, the Department of Orthopedic, the School of Medicine, and the University of Colorado.

Minimum of 2 residency interview days with 80 applicants.
The position also assists all fellowships with their recruitment process with a minimum of 10+ days.

Coordinate the gathering of all data forms, final evaluations, procedure logs, badges and final program letter of completion for graduating residents training files
Forward future email address to GME office for PeopleSoft record
Maintain Alumni database
Complete any reimbursements required by the end of the fiscal year
