Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and the NEC (National Electrical Code). Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and connect industrial electrical systems in accordance with safety procedures and local codes.
- Diagnose complex electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting techniques to identify faults in electrical systems or equipment.
- Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations, contributing your expertise in electrical blueprint reading and installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on high end resdidential and commercial electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting skills are a requirement.
- Valid journeyman electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Strong ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment.
- Construction site experience with a demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments; renovation or remodeling experience is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards during installation or maintenance tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to low voltage systems and industrial electrical infrastructure.

Pay: $29.36 - $35.36 per hour
