Position Overview: On-Site in Rochester, PA 15074
This is a true hunter-style sales role designed for individuals who thrive on pursuing new opportunities and closing deals. You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, developing relationships, and managing the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new shipper opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and pain points
- Present customized transportation and logistics solutions
- Successfully onboard new accounts and coordinate transitions to operations
- Research target industries including steel, lumber, construction materials, manufacturing, and industrial freight
- Identify emerging markets, shipping trends, and new business opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Provide consistent communication and account support throughout the sales process
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals and KPIs
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline updates, and reporting

- Proven B2B sales experience in transportation or logistics. Required
- Strong prospecting, cold calling, and objection-handling abilities
- Self-driven individual with a true hunter mentality
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- High level of urgency, accountability, and professionalism
