The Family
- An active, engaged family in Bozeman is looking for a full-time nanny to grow alongside them for the long term. Mom is an Economics Professor and Dad is an Engineer, and both often work from home — they love popping in throughout the day to say hello and stay connected. Evenings and weekends are all about being outside together: hikes, playgrounds, and toddler play areas are a regular part of family life.
- This will be a household with exclusively nanny-based childcare, and the family is looking for a candidate who can become a true long-term partner in their children's care — someone who is knowledgeable, high-energy, communicative, and genuinely loves spending time with kids.
The Kids
- Their son is a sweet, curious, and active toddler (currently 20 months old) who loves going for walks outside, playing with the family pets, and reading books. Starting this fall, he'll attend a Montessori program three mornings a week, with the nanny covering care the rest of the time.
- The family is also expecting their second child in February, and the nanny role is expected to grow accordingly — Mom plans to be home with the new baby through the following spring and summer, with the right nanny partnering alongside her during that time and taking on full care again as things settle.
The Pets
The household includes two dogs — one described as sweet, friendly, and energetic, and the other as sweet but a bit barky — as well as one cat. Comfort and ease around pets is a must.
The Position
- This is a full-time, long-term role (1–2 years), beginning in late August 2026.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week). Some flexibility is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Occasional family travel or overnights may be an option down the road, for a nanny who is interested.
Responsibilities include:
- Full-time care for a toddler, with responsibilities expanding to include a newborn in the future
- Safe, reliable transportation for the children
- Light housekeeping related to childcare — laundry, meal prep, and general tidying

- College degree or higher preferred
- Up to date on flu and Tdap vaccinations (newborn arriving in early February)
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive the children in the nanny's own vehicle
