LINE COOK $23/hr starting + Tips (Avg $100-$250 biweekly)
Hours vary Tues-Sun on the lines, both main and pantry, plus prep as needed.
Full-time position for a good listener who is ready and willing to execute Chef Franck's plan, is tidy, punctual, and is highly motivated to learn. We expect consistency in prep and execution to maintain our standard of perfection. Food doesn't get sent back to the kitchen, ever. Every plate is something you can be proud of and would want to serve your own family.
Our kitchen is kept meticulously clean with the hard work of everyone from Chef to the dishwashers. We appreciate employees who stay organized, even during times of intense pressure.
You may be an experienced line cook, but this is an opportunity to learn from a true French chef and very talented peers. You'll learn how to inspect, prep, and use only the finest cuts and raw products. We keep a small close team, so it's a demanding job in that you'll wear "many hats" and always have the opportunity to learn and grow. This is not a job where you get bored flipping patties on a grill.
Everyone is an equal who works here. A successful candidate must be able to check their ego at the door and be just as respectful to service staff and dishwashers As they are to Chef.
Pay increases are happily awarded for proven work ethic, productivity, and an ability to learn and execute.
Must have 3 years experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen, maintain a meticulously clean workstation, and be able to take direction and constructive criticism from Chef and your peers.
For a tour of the kitchen, stop by any day between 8:00-11:00. Afternoon/evening hours are available by appointment. Come to the back door of the kitchen on Winding Creek Dr, next to the Traeger. Applicants that pass the interview will be invited to stage an evening shift and see if the tempo and environment suits you. Offers of employment will include a brief probationary period where you have a chance to display a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
