Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Strive Mental Health LLC is seeking a compassionate, professional, and dependable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice in Ocala, Florida.

Position Highlights

Job Summary
The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and follow-up care for children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient psychiatric practice. The provider will collaborate with therapists, medical assistants, and office staff to provide high-quality, compassionate mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication education and counseling
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
- Review laboratory results and outside medical records
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Active Florida APRN license
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Schedule
Monday through Thursday
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
