Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Conveyor Belt Sushi Server to join our fast-paced restaurant team. In a kaitenzushi (conveyor belt) environment, dining is an interactive and dynamic experience. Your role goes beyond traditional table service; you will be the guide for our guests, ensuring they understand the conveyor system, managing high-volume tech-based ordering, tracking plates for billing, and maintaining a spotless, high-energy dining room.

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Welcome & Orientation: Greet guests warmly, seat them, and enthusiastically explain how the conveyor belt, touch-screen ordering system, and color-coded pricing work.
- Order Management: Assist guests with special orders via the digital tablet or convey kitchen-direct requests (like dietary restrictions or hot appetizers) to the sushi chefs.
- Beverage & Side Service: Prepare and deliver drinks, miso soup, and specialized desserts promptly. Ensure green tea stations at the tables are fully stocked with matcha powder and hot water.
- Table Maintenance & "Plate Counting": Routinely clear empty non-conveyor dishes, monitor table cleanliness, and accurately tally color-coded plates/scanned items to calculate the final bill.
- Efficiency & Rotation Support: Monitor the conveyor belt to ensure it is clean, and communicate with the kitchen staff regarding high-demand items or guest requests.
- Sidework & Sanitation: Perform opening, closing, and running sidework duties, including wiping down booths, sanitizing touch-screens, restocking ginger/wasabi caddies, and sweeping.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
