Do you really love ice cream? We do, and we take it very seriously. For 30 years, Screamin Mimi’s has been Sonoma County's premiere artisan ice cream shop. We are looking for someone who wants to join our team and turn their love of Ice Cream into a career and a really fun job.
What You'll Be Doing
- Making our small-batch ice cream & following our recipes.
- Keeping things clean, sanitary and following food safety protocols.
- Tasting batches along the way (yes, that's part of the job!)
- Keeping your prep and inventory organized so everything runs smoothly
- Teaming up with the rest of the crew to help ensure a comfortable, safe working environment
What We're Looking For
- You must like ice cream. Non-negotiable.
- Clean and detail-oriented — you like things tidy and you measure precisely
- Good at following instructions, both written and verbal — it is vital for our recipes and food safety.
- Physically up for it — this job keeps you on your feet and moving; it's hands-on work and it is constantly physically active. Must be able to lift heavy containers of mix, and move heavy tubs of ice cream.
- Organized and self-sufficient — you can manage your own tasks without assistance
- Passionate about the craft — you care about making something genuinely great
- A team player who's easy to work with
Bonus Points For
- Being friendly and outgoing! Customer service or prior foodservice experience is a plus — we'll train you to help out front, especially in the slower winter months when we can offer more hours that way
The Schedule
- Morning/ Day hours . 8am - 4pm, Mon thru Friday. Nearly full-time during our busy summer season. Part-time in winter (with the option for more hours if you're up for some customer service too)
