We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Leasing Agent to join our team in The Colony, Texas. This role is highly focused on increasing occupancy, driving leasing traffic, and creating an exceptional resident experience. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for connecting people with their new home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed leasing goals with a strong focus on increasing community occupancy.
- Conduct property tours and showcase apartments to prospective residents.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents through excellent customer service.
- Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in leasing inquiries.
- Accurately process applications, lease documents, renewals, and move-in paperwork.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing and outreach efforts to drive qualified traffic.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive properties, and local rental market conditions.
- Ensure the community presents a professional, welcoming, and well-kept appearance at all times.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred (apartment leasing experience a plus).
- Strong sales and closing skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar) preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
