Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing laundry, and providing a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and commitment to sanitation will help create a pristine, safe, and inviting atmosphere.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, sanitizing bathrooms, and ensuring proper waste disposal
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing hard floors to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained
- Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored safely after use
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory checks and scheduling cleaning routines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results consistently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory
