Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care support to adults with developmental disabilities in a Support Living Residential setting. This role involves supporting residents in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to person-centered care and possess relevant experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support residents during meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Observe and document individual behavior, health status, and progress through patient monitoring and record-keeping
- Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Follow safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures; respond appropriately to emergencies
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation, community engagement, and emotional well-being
- Assist with transportation or outings within the community as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through light cleaning duties
Skills
- Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license, current car inspection, car insurance & reliable transportation
- Able to pass background checks
