Job Summary
As a Store Supervisor supports daily store operations at Kilwins operated by franchisee, Sweet Blossom LLC, by leading team members, delivering exceptional guest service, and ensuring adherence to Kilwins’ high standards of quality, production, cleanliness, and presentation. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to help maintain a fun, welcoming, and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Provide outstanding guest service by creating a warm, friendly, and memorable Kilwins experience.
- Assist guests with product selections, sampling, and upselling when appropriate.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Operations & Store Standards
- Oversee daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Ensure store cleanliness, product displays, and merchandising meet Kilwins standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stocking, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist in fudge, chocolate, and ice cream production as needed.
Production & Preparation
- Prepare fudge, caramel, brittle, dipped items, and other chocolate confections following Kilwins’ recipes and processes.
- Operate and maintain candy-making equipment, including marble tables, kettles, and enrobing machines.
- Monitor ingredient quality and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
- Delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations and timely completion.
- Support a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and accountability.
Cash Handling & Compliance
- Oversee cash handling, register operations, and daily reconciliations when assigned.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and company policies.
- Uphold Kilwins’ brand standards and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or food service experience (supervisory experience preferred).
- Must be 18+ age
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
- Basic math and computer skills (POS system experience a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Work Schedule
